The assessment is designed to assess the competence of a registered installer who undertakes, or wishes to undertake work on commercial mobile catering vehicles (such as burger vans), whether it is installation, commissioning, servicing or repairing the relevant gas appliances.
To ensure that the candidate holds the relevant knowledge and information required to successfully install, commission and service mobile catering vehicle appliances.
Anyone who intends to work on mobile and/or public gas catering installations.
Any operatives undertaking these assessments must hold an appropriate core gas safety qualification or relevant changeover qualification, in addition to the appropriate commercial gas catering qualifications and LPG qualifications.
Where entry requirements are met, training is available but not mandatory.
One day should be sufficient to complete this assessment.
This is not a training course (assessment only).

Practical assessment and multiple choice question papers
Successful candidates will be qualified to work on commercial mobile catering installations.
This is an open book assessment and it is therefore highly recommended that candidates undertaking it have an up-to-date gas publication.
