Domestic Natural Gas ACS Re-assessment Training

Introduction

A two-day refresher course designed to assist previously trained operatives to update their existing domestic natural gas knowledge and understanding to meet the core ACS assessment requirements. This course includes training and assessment in the safe electrical isolation of gas meters and relevant gas appliances.

Course objectives/key benefits

To update existing knowledge and understanding required to work competently with the domestic natural gas industry.

Who is the course aimed at?

Previously qualified operatives to enable them to meet the core ACS assessment requirements.

Entry requirements/pre-requisites

Gas operatives must be qualified to category 1.

Anyone who does not currently hold a gas qualification wishing to undertake ACS assessment will need to consider undertaking the Managed Learning Programme Gas course for new entrants or, if they have previously held ACS gas qualifications but have let them lapse, they will need to undertake the Fast Track Gas course as required.

Where entry requirements are met, training is available but not mandatory.

Course Outcome/Qualification
