The IQA verifier award is a single QCF unit which replaces the previous D34/v1 qualifications.
The revised standards are designed to reflect the requirements of Internal Verifiers in all occupational sectors, and are the benchmark of good practice in the Internal Verification of qualifications.
This course is for anyone involved in the monitoring of the assessment processes and decisions within an organisation and helping to maintain and improve the quality of assessment. It has been designed for those who carry out the internal quality assurance of the assessment processes in accordance with external quality assurance requirements.

This is a nationally recognised and widely used competence based programme that enables individuals to conduct internal quality assurance checks of the assessment process.
Anyone wishing to undertake the internal verification of regulated qualifications such as N/SVQ’s, other workplace qualifications or in-company standards
Candidates should hold a recognised and current Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement.

This is an ongoing process which has a maximum time limit of three years for completion from the date of commencement.
Classroom based
Candidates are required to compile a portfolio of evidence and will also need to undertake observed assessments.
Candidates who successfully complete the assessment will receive an EAL Level 4 NVQ Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice.
