This Level 2 Award in Gas Safety Awareness in Social Housing course provides is designed for candidates working in the social housing sector and private rental sector, such as landlords and maintenance staff, who need to be up to speed with gas safety issues affecting their residents.
Subjects such as carbon monoxide awareness are covered and this course aims to help identify situations where people may be at risk.
Those attending this course will be provided with a good understanding of the relevant requirements of gas safety management and, provided they are successful in the relevant assessment, will be qualified to undertake an associated role.
To help candidates identify areas of gas safety relevant to the work in which they are involved (i.e. property maintenance, managing social housing etc.).

The course is aimed at anyone with some responsibility for housing stock such as social housing and rental properties, in terms of the safety of residents.
Training also contributes towards Continuous Professional Development (CPD).
