BPEC WATER REGULATIONS

 

INTRODUCTION:

In 1999 local Water Bylaws in England and Wales were replaced by the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999. This course is designed to update candidates and assess their knowledge.

COURSE OBJECTIVES/KEY BENEFITS

On completion candidates will have an up-to-date knowledge of this important legislation, which is used to control the installation and use of water supply systems.

WHO IS THE COURSE AIMED AT

The course is aimed at practising plumbers with experience in both hot and codd water systems, as well as anyone involved in the installation, design and specification of water systems, and anyone with limited previous experience who wish to update their knowledge.

Compliance with safety standards
Enable WRAS approval
Provide information for Registered Plumber status

Theory

COURSE OUTCOME/QUALIFICATION

Upon successful completion operatives will be awarded a BPEC certificate and will be able to apply for approved contractor status.

PRE-REQUISITE KNOWLEGDE/QUALIFICATION

None required. However, a basic understanding of the working principles of domestic hot and cold water supply systems would be advantageous.
