LPG ASSESSMENT (CONVERSION OR RE-ASSESSMENT)

 

INTRODUCTION:

A pre-requisite assessment for those who hold a core natural gas qualification and wish to undertake work within the LPG sector within domestic properties and residential park homes (defined as log cabins or chalets).

If the candidate wishes to work on mobile homes (static caravans) or touring caravans they will need to undertake the Domestic Natural Gas to LPG conversion plus Leisure Accommodation Vehicles (LAV) assessment. A full list of the add-ons are below.

COURSE OBJECTIVES/KEY BENEFITS

On completion candidates will be able to undertake work within the LPG sector, within domestic homes, residential park homes, leisure accommodation vehicles and boats, depending upon the appropriate assessments being successfully undertaken.

COURSE OUTCOME/QUALIFICATION

Upgrade of existing core qualification to encompass liquid petroleum gas (LPG).

PRE-REQUISITE KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATION

Candidates should be experienced to Category 1 (Domestic Natural Gas Core Safety) and provide evidence of this (current certificates).
