LPG 'ADD-ON' ASSESSMENTS

INTRODUCTION: Assessments for those undertaking the LPG conversion course from domestic natural gas to LPG or sitting their LPG re-assessment. COURSE OBJECTIVES/KEY BENEFITS: On completion delegates will be able to demonstrate their safety awareness and competency in the contents of the add-ons undertaken (listed below). WHO THE COURSE IS AIMED AT: Those converting their existing natural gas qualifications over to LPG or those who hold up-to-date LPG ACS qualifications. ASSESSMENTS AVAILABLE (*Assessment codes are provided in brackets) Leisure Accommodation Vehicles (LAV) (*Please note: This qualification is required for caravan holiday homes as well as tourer caravans and motorhomes) Boats LPG (B) Commercial Mobile Catering (CMC) (*Please note: Candidates will also need to hold a core commercial gas qualification or appropriate changeover as well as the relevant COMCAT qualifications) Closed Flue LPG Gas Fires (Widney fires etc.) (HTRLP2) Caravan LPG Gas Fires (HTRLP3) Caravan LPG Refrigerators (REFLP2) Caravan LPG Water Heater (WATLP2) ASSESSMENT METHOD Practical workshop and theory. PRE-REQUISITE KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATION Candidates should be experienced to Category 1 and will need to provide appropriate evidence of this in the form of certificates and CORGI card.
