Green Deal Assessors
Introduction
From 1st April 2012 a Green Deal Assessor will be required to carry out an energy assessment on a property whose occupants have requested Green Deal Funding.
The assessor will produce an report (in the form of an Energy Performance Certificate) that will make energy efficiency recommendations. These recommendations could include anything from insulating the loft to installing a renewable energy technology. The Assessor will then pass the recommendations on to the Green Deal Provider who will then get Green Deal Accredited Installers to carry out the eligible energy efficiency work that they are funding.
Please note: NO Green Deal training courses are available ANYWHERE yet! - No training companies are able to offer fully accredited Green Deal Training until course details and accreditation have been finalised.
