Frequently Asked Questions

These are questions regularly asked at the centre;

1). If I want to undertake an assessment without first completing any training, is this possible?

Yes. Training is not a pre-requisite of assessment.

2). What are the opening and closing times of the centre?

The centre is open from 08:00. We ask anyone attending a course to arrive at our centre no later than 08:45 on the first day of the course to ensure that they are signed in and have been provided with any relevant materials required for the course. Any training or assessments will commence from 09:00. If the course is longer than one day you are required to arrive no later than 09:00 on the days following the first day. The centre closes at 16:00.

3). What if I do not finish my assessment and cannot make it back on the following day?

This situation would be assessed at that time and if we are able to we will accommodate this at a later date.

4). Where can I get lunch?!

There are a number of food outlets locally to the centre (and SWAAT also provide biscuits!)
