COMBI BOILER FAULT FINDING

INTRODUCTION: This is an in-house course designed to provide candidates with the core knowledge associated with fitting and fault finding combi boilers. It has been written by our own training team and is designed for plumbing and heating engineers who install and service combination boilers. A practical 'hands on' approach is adopted to enable candidates to safely and satisfactorily find the majority of faults associated with combination boilers. COURSE CONTENT: *Practical experience of working on combination boilers *Understanding the operation of combination boilers *Understanding functions, error codes and manufacturer's instructions *Understanding key differences between manufacturers' combination boilers *Identify symptoms of problems on individual combination boilers *Fault finding and rectification *Exchanging components according to manufacturer's instructions
TRAINING METHOD Practical workshop and theory.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS Candidates should be competent gas engineers and hold current ACS certification.
DURATION One day
ASSESSMENT Assessment is available but not compulsory. However, any candidates wishing to undertake the assessment will need to undertake the Essential Electrics course prior to doing so and an additional assessment fee (£130 + VAT) will be incurred.
